After her mother’s remarriage, Lee Hyeon-ah gains a new stepfather, Cha Kangjun: young, composed, and unsettlingly perfect. Though they share no blood ties and Hyeon-ah is already an adult, Kangjun’s attention toward her grows increasingly intense after the wedding. When her ailing mother leaves overseas for treatment, the house becomes a sealed world of watchful silences, unspoken threats, and boundaries that erode one by one. Trapped between fear, dependence, and a pull she doesn’t fully understand, Hyeon-ah must confront how far obsession can go when love, power, and secrecy twist into something dangerous.
